WHAT A PROFIT!

This guest post from Lenny Mcknight

I was checking my eBay auctions all day at work today using our Long Island T1 connection. Usually, I don’t do personal things and even refrain from checking my personal e-mail while I am at work, but today I was just too excited that I had to get on my eBay account. I listed a dress for sale that I picked up at an estate sale for five dollars. When I got it home, it was too big for me, so I decided that I would list it on-line. It turns out that the dress was a Cecil Chapman gown ( a pretty famous designer). I didn’t know until I did some research when my auction started edging higher and higher who Cecil Chapman was. He dressed the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Marylin Monroe back in the day. The auction really caught my attention when it tipped one hundred dollars. I was expecting like twenty bucks max. I felt like everyt ime I checked the auction it was just inching up and up. I got so excited that I had to get my boss ( who appreciates fashion) to see what I had come across. She was excited and wanted me to keep checking. It finally sold for 225! What a profit!

A not for profit corporation is one specifically formed for purposes other than operating a profit-seeking business.

WOW! You made over $200 on that one...nice gift to yourself. I'd be checking ebay all day long with that kind of auction. Congratulations.
